How to Resume Your Session
Audience: Contributors — family members or friends who want to come back and add more memories after leaving the page.
Zeuge saves your work automatically. If you closed the page or need to come back later, just open the same link again.
Resuming on the Same Device
- Open the same invite link you received (e.g.,
https://zeuge.io/c/abc123xyz). - The welcome screen will appear. Your previous contributions are already saved.
- Choose your recording method and continue. Photos you have already responded to will show a green indicator in the carousel.
If you saved or bookmarked the link, use that. The link is always the same — there is no time limit unless the organiser set an expiration date.
Resuming on a Different Phone or Computer
Because session history is stored in your browser, switching to a different device means the carousel will not show your previous recordings as "done". However, your recordings are already safely saved in the archive — the organiser can see them. The green indicators just will not appear on the new device.
Open the same link on any device to add more memories. Everything is combined in the archive.
What If the Link Has Expired?
You will see a message saying the link is no longer valid. Contact the person who invited you — they can send a fresh link.
What If the Collection Is Closed?
The organiser may have paused contributions. Your previously saved memories are still in the archive. Contact the organiser if you would like to add more.
Common Questions
I cleared my browser history. Can I still use the link?
Yes. Your memories are saved on Zeuge's servers, not in your browser. Just open the same link again. The green "done" indicators in the carousel may not appear, but your memories are safe.
I lost the link. How do I get it again?
Contact the person who invited you. They can look up and resend your invite link.
Photos do not show as done even though I recorded them. Is my data lost?
Your recordings are still saved. The indicators only reflect the current device's session. Check with the organiser to confirm your responses are showing on their end.
